Editor test
We'd rather see you work than read a CV. Here's real footage from a real client, Rhine Hall, and no template to follow. Make something great with it. It should take an experienced editor a couple of hours.
Project assets
Raw Rhine Hall footage, audio and graphics. Everything you need is in here.
Cut a short vertical video that would make someone book the venue.
Rhine Hall is an event venue in Kokomo — weddings, receptions, corporate events, parties. The people watching this are planning something and deciding where to hold it. Everything you cut should serve that.
The Drive folder has the raw footage, audio and graphics. Watch all of it before you start. The shot that makes your video is often not the obvious one.
You have about a second and a half. The first frame and the first line of text have to earn the next five seconds — no slow fades, no logo intro, no build-up. Lead with your strongest shot or your boldest claim.
Captions are required, not optional. Most people watch on mute. They should be readable on a phone held at arm's length, timed tightly to the audio, and placed so nothing important gets covered by the platform UI.
Tell them exactly what to do next and make it feel easy. A CTA that's an afterthought wastes everything before it — give it real screen time and make it unmissable.
Deliver exactly to this. Getting the export wrong is the most common way people fail this test.

No surprises — this is the whole list. The hook, the captions and the CTA carry the most weight.
Two steps: put the file in our Drive folder, then let us know it's there.
Step 1 — drop your export in here
Name the file with your own name, e.g. jordan-lee.mp4
Step 2 — tell us it's there
Fill this in so we know whose video is whose.
Prefer your own Dropbox, WeTransfer or Frame.io link? Paste it here instead — just make sure anyone can open it without requesting access.
